Stuey maintains the direct approach as his songs unhinge into further depth. The album calls for change in the current system. Stuey hits the nail on the head with the fluidity in his lines. Burn This Bitch Down begins with a recording explaining what happens when those who are meant to serve and protect do not. Tracks like “Burn” and “Shoot TF Back” are tightly produced with a fat slap of a bassline and a clean melody that is on point.
Stueys raps continue to carry each track with a message that weighs. But in “Black and White” he comes correct putting the focus almost entirely on his words. Stuey Newton does not play around or take this time lightly. He keeps the countless names of those killed by police at the forefront and refuses to just let it slide.
