Stormy Daniels is making headlines yet again. But this time it’s not for the reasons you may think. The multi-faceted woman is now entering the world of CBD with Tempest. Teaming up with Spokane-based processor and owner of Forest Pharms Mike Forest.
After learning that Stormy Daniels was interested in starting her own CBD line, which now also features gummies, Forest reached out. Together the two created Tempest By Stormy. A water-based, oil-free lubricant, safe for all, even those with pH sensitivities. It contains only natural hemp terpenes and holds a light floral scent.
The CBD-infused lubricant uses innovative nanotechnology which allows the fluid to be absorbed into the skin and take effect faster. Designed to reduce friction and amplify the sexual experience. It is described to provide a gently full-body buzz and can also reduce inflammation.
Forest has been working on using nanotechnology in the production of CBD products since 2011. He describes,
“The problem is that cannabis is not very bioavailable. This is why THC and CBD are typically suspended into something that increases absorption when applied to the skin, like an oil. We use a new technique that involves a fat-bonded, full-spectrum, nanotization process.”
Using an ultrasonic process, Forest Pharms can break down microparticles into nanoparticles. This allows the hemp to be water-soluble, creating a much easier way to dissolve and absorb the product and increase bioavailability.
While infused lubricants with CBD isn’t a new thing. Forest claims Tempest users will not only get more CBD by volume, but it will also be immediately absorbed and working on contact as soon as applied.
