Stackztootrill has another heavy hitter with his music video for “Thru The Dark Storm” filmed by local Spokane videographer Lledrow. Stackz recently visited Spokane to film with local artist 1800 YoungSmoke for their collab track “W.Y.A. (Where You At?)”.
After filming that video Stackz and Lledrow found some extra time to hit a few dope spots around the city, showcasing a new scene for his Texas/Southern fan base. “Thru The Dark Storm” comes off of Stackz 2020 album The Pain Tape, an 11-track project where Stackztootrill lays out his life story and struggles.
“Thru The Dark Storm” leads off the album but other tracks like “No Guidance” and “Agony” which is about his brother/best friends murder. While it was an emotional process, this album allowed Stackz to let out all the pain and internal battles as he dedicated the album to his late mother.
The song is a full melodic vibe with Stackz harmonizing and rap/singing more that just straight spitting bars. His ability to switch up octaves and cadence while still delivering a smooth flow is unique with many imitators giving meek attempts at replicating it.
