When it comes to picking out high-quality hybrids, the biggest indicator of what the strain will offer lies in its lineage. The parent strains of any cannabis will give insight on what to expect from the flavor, potency, and overall experience of a strain. One brand that chose carefully when combing two high-quality strains is Leaph Cannabis, and they prove it with their Spiked Fruit Punch strain.
In this North American Weed Tour Review, we try out Leaph Cannabis’ Spiked Fruit Punch hybrid which is a cross between Larry OG and Purple Punch.
First Impressions
Right away, the Spiked Fruit Punch is noticeably high-quality. The nugs are dense, with dark green and purple hues. A frost layer of trichomes covers the surface of the nugs. Through the aroma, you can smell the Purple Punch lineage peaking through. Additionally, the smell is sweet, fruity, and a little doughy.
The strain is indica dominant with a THC level ranging from 22%-24%, so you can expect a relaxing experience. The lineage and type of hybrid indicate that this strain may be perfect for a bedtime smoke session. As far as presentation, Leaph Cannabis makes sure to include lots of information on the packaging, including the genetics and brand info.
Two-Hit Review
The first hit of the Spiked Fruit Punch brings the taste of sweet sugar. Again, the Purple Punch shines through the cannabis with flavor. Hints of fruit can also be tasted on the exhale.
As far as effects, the strain has the potential for a deeply relaxing body high. The strain may be able to aid in soothing physical aches, or those suffering from insomnia.
Overall, we gave the Spiked Fruit Punch strain a high score of 88 out of 100.
