The Sour Tangie strain should always omit a pungent citrus aroma. Originally bred by DNA Genetics, Sour Tangie crosses Sour Diesel and Tangie which are both legendary sativa strains. For this West Coast Weed Tour review, I gave the Sour Tangie strain from Portland’s Cloud Cover Cannabis a try.
Inside the Sour Tangie jar from Cloud Cover Cannabis rests a series of elongated sativa nugs. Unlike their indica counterparts, these are not tightly clumped together. Instead patches of cannabis stretch along the stem giving trichomes ample amounts of nooks and crannies to reside in. Contrasts of green on the weed and dark orange pistils exist across the cannabis that has been splattered with a layer of dewy trichomes.
The smell might be my favorite part of the Sour Tangie. This isn’t a super in your face sativa strain, but there is a definitive increase in the ability to focus.
