The rise in popularity of vaporizers has resulted in a greater demand for cannabis-based products, not just nicotine. This has lead vaporizer brands like PAX Labs to collaborate with extract companies and cannabis farms. The Sour Diesel PAX pod by Bloom Farms is just one example of many collaborations to fit the growing need for these types products.
In this West Coast Weed Tour official review, @JoeyJayPing and @Jazisaurus try out this exciting product.
First Impressions
The package of the Sour Diesel PAX pod has a craft look to it. The earth tones of the design emphasize the fact that the extract is all-natural. In fact, the Bloom Farms brand itself emphasizes the idea of a natural and eco-friendly way of plant growth.
The mission statement on the package reads: “…made by people who care about community, environment, plant, and you.” On top of that, the box is also created with wind-energy.
The pod is made up of 87% THC, meaning it has strong potency. Joey and Jazi were surprised at the dark brown color of the extract. With this strain they expected to see a golden or light brown color like most distillate vape products.
First Hits
Joey and Jazi smoked the Sour Diesel PAX pod using the Era Pro Smart Vaporizer at the lowest temperature setting. Jazi’s first hit was not very good; she ended up with a burnt popcorn taste. But Joey, who hit the vaporizer after, got all the delicious flavors of the Sour Diesel. Citrus and gassy flavors mix to create an energetic and euphoric high. Joey’s experience with this pod was great, and although the taste didn’t fit Jazi’s preference, she still enjoyed the relaxing high she experienced.
Even though Joey’s experience with the Sour Diesel PAX pod was enjoyable, In the West Coast Weed Tour, we have to find the best of the best. Because of that mindset, Joey and Jazi gave this this product a score of 8.25.
