Soulja Boy has released a surprise new mixtape titled Swag 4, which he began promoting on Monday. Initially posting on Instagram to announce his new project, Draco has had quite an eventful week on social media. Following the release of Kanye West’s Donda, Soulja revealed that he was supposed to appear on the album. Once he realized Kanye cut him from the project, Soulja began posting on every social media platform to clown Ye. Many fans of Soulja Boy assume Swag 4 is a direct response to Kanye West’s Donda.
Released via Soulja’s independent label, Swag 4 includes 14 tracks with a runtime of around 37 minutes. The Chicago rapper claims to have included a track on this new tape that directly addresses his new beef with Kanye. Furthermore, there is a track on this tape titled “Shawn Carter,” which is Jay-Z’s real name. This track seems to address Jay and his business ventures. Big Draco seems to have no problem throwing around a ton of names on this new tape.

Swag 4 Seeks To Prove That Soulja Boy Was The First Rapper
Regardless of whether or not this album is on your radar, Swag 4 is worth a listen. The tape is full of classic Soulja Boy flows and big club production. The track “Paraphernalia” features trap hi-hats and repeated hooks that compliment Soulja’s comedic bars. The song “Bussin” includes the one and only feature on the mixtape. G$ Lil Ronnie links with Soulja on this track and together both MCs create a heavy trap vibe. While both rappers spit over this beat, a very catchy flute-like melody glides overtop. This combination of production and bars leads to an overall fun and lighthearted rap banger.
Soulja Boy has had a decent run this year, releasing two mixtapes and a ton of singles. Swag 4 proves that Soulja is willing and able to drop music whenever he pleases. In the case of Swag 4, Soulja is seeking a response from Ye. He truly believes that he is the first rapper to invent everything. With this in mind, Soulja believes that Ye disrespected him by cutting his feature on Donda. Swag 4 seeks to prove many things, but the main thing Soulja is looking to prove is that he would’ve had the hardest feature on Ye’s latest project.
