Politics come and go but hip-hop is forever. This year has been filled with incredible releases and November is no different with Ab Soul leading the way with his newest album Soul Burger. Soul’s latest album is highly anticipated from the TDE artist since his last album Herbert was hailed by fans and critics alike. Soul is burger is packed full of features, the full list is long: DoeBurger, Vince Staples, Doechii, JID, Lupe Fiasco, Ty Dolla $ign, Jason Martin, Thirsty P, Kamm Carson, Fre$h, Punch, and Asia Holiday with production from 9th Wonder, ScHoolBoy Q, Kal Banx, Terrace Martin, Rascal, TaeBeast, Devin Malik, Beat Butcha.
Soul Burger is dedicated to Soul’s late friend DoeBurger who passed way in 2021. According to The Source, Doe always encouraged Ab Soul to make more uplifting music for his fans to dance to at shows and this album reflects their friendship and relationship.
As I was writing this, I found a new project from the legend A$AP Ferg and there way just no way this was getting published without getting Darold on the list. This is Ferg’s first album in four years and Apple Music clarifies the album offers some insight into the artist and man Ferg has grown into since the infamous and legendary days of A$AP Mob in the 2010s. Darold also has an incredible list of features from Denzel Curry, Coco Jones, Future, the Alumni Ensemble of Harlem and the legendary Mary J Blige.
Other artists that have albums out today include BabyTron and Sahbabii, each one has some playlist worthy hits for your weekend shenanigans.
And incase you missed them, check out some of the best projects that dropped earlier this month including Westside Gunn’s Still Praying and Lil Uzi’s Eternal Atake 2. Stay tuned for more big releases later this month from Cordae, Maxo Kream, and a post-humorous album from Juice Wrld.
