Starting September first Respect My Region is changing up things quite a bit on the blog and on our website! We are doing an entire makeover of our website, our blog is introducing tons of new content, and we are reorganizing the way we showcase all of the incredible local content we discuss throughout the year.
You can definitely expect to see and hear tons of new music on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as we continue to feature local dance music producers, rap/hiphop artists, and the dopest nightlife events going on around the region.
If you’ve already been following some of the Seattle artists we usually push on our blog then I’m sure you’re familiar with the first guy I’m featuring here today. SHARPS is both talented and humble as his popularity continues to rise across the Pacific North West and beyond. Hopefully other major music blogs like ThisSongSlaps.com, ThisSongIsSick.com, and DanceMusicNW.com pick up on this track too!

When I first heard this song I immediately started headbanging and twerking at the same time. I’m sure you can imagine a 5’10 white guy doing some kind of dance resembling a turkey dancing with a flock of ratchets. This shiii #SLAPS and I’ll be jamming this every day until Winson releases another banger. I can’t wait to hear this live out at Aston Manor sometime soon or maybe even out at Bumbershoot’s Silent Disco!
