Sol released his second song while on his brief hiatus from the United States, and it’s called Old Him. It’s what we have come to expect from Sol over the past few years, awesome lyrics and a good flow over a mellow beat. It’s been amazing to me to see Sol continually pump out music while on his trip around the world. But it has alwo been a big inspiration.
Seeing people continuing to do what they love when it is not easy to do is just awesome. With that being said, here is what Sol had to say about this song:
Bangalore, India, and recorded in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, while severely sick from food poisoning (caused two months into my trip, after being
convinced by my Indian friends to try KFC for the first time in my life).
You can buy”Old Him” on iTunes. This song was produced by The Zillas (Elan Wright & Nima Skeemz) and had additional vocals by Kirk Huffman, and the piano was played by Kevin Lavitt. It was mixed by Elan Wright and mastered by Dave Cooley for Elysian Masters. Also, the artwork was done by Jonny Sikov.
