Sol.Luna is one of Portland’s hottest rising stars right now and his wave is just getting bigger and bigger. He recently had his track “Vroom” hit 1 million streams on Spotify, which is his first million stream song. Later that same day he had another track hit a million streams with “Movie,” a statement to his rapid growth.
Both “Vroom” and “Movie” first started gaining major popularity through TikTok and YouTube videos that would use his music. Suddenly over night Sol.Luna was getting thousands of streams and followers from famous YouTubers sharing his music with their fans.
His track “Movie” has been a major bop hitting the million streams in only 4 months while “Vroom” has been out a tad longer. “Movie” is a catchy vibe that features Sol giving us his signature sing/rap style and a hook that sticks to you like super glue.
Project X Parties
Of course we all remember that classic party movie everybody tried to recreate in high school. Well, Sol.Luna is helping to really bring it to life with Portland’s Project X Parties. They recently had a show on July 10th that was absolutely jumping! With a total attendance of 500 people the building was packed out on two floors; bar and games downstairs and the main stage upstairs.
It featured Spokane native 1800 YoungSmoke alongside Sol.Luna and his homie Savii who performed their hit “Location.” Sol was of course the main act of the night but he let Savii close it out before letting DJ DreyVibez run the party again for the rest of the night.
