Snoop Dogg Reveals Secret Behind His “Giving Up Smoke” Announcement

Last Thursday, Snoop Dogg announced that he decided to “give up smoke”.

This initially led to confusion and speculation amongst his fans as to what the post meant. Was he giving up smoking cannabis? Was this a ploy to launch a line of edibles? Is he just taking the world through a weird rollercoaster of emotions?

Respect My Region chimed in on this matter too, throwing forth our own speculation as to what’s going on behind the scenes. All of that and more was answered today in an Instagram post, one that showed the world that the “smoke” Snoop was talking about was extremely literal.

The rapper announced today that he was partnering up with Solo Stove for a series of “smokeless” fire pits. “I love a good fire outside, but the smoke was too much,” Snoop said in a statement. “Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed the game, and now I’m excited to spread the love and stay warm with my friends and family.”

This limited edition collaboration both comes with a bundle of the fire pit, custom apparel, and stickers, as well as a giveaway being hosted on Solo Stove’s collaboration page. Snoop features heavily on the page, with a quote reading,

“I can sit by that thing all night and it doesn’t even burn my eyes. Now I heat up from the feet up – without any smoke.”

Did Snoop Dogg originally fool us? Of course he did, but what can we say; that’s a great way to announce a collaboration like this.
