Sloane comes through with an emotional, yet uplifting track “Old Hands New Face”. Born out of heartbreak after being dumped, something we can all relate to, he turned to music. Coming out of L.A. this is Sloane’s debut song. He hopes it will “help everyone that feels out of place to smile and feel more connected.” His music has a true message for good. Which is a nice change from the popularity of wild’n out and doing drugs.
Lyrics like “I want to hold you / didn’t think we’d need to deal with this” will give you chills as you remember the feeling of being blindsided by heartbreak. Music to cry to while you smile. He uses synths, samplers, guitars, and voice pedals that create a euphoric feeling that you’re not quite sure how to feel about. Sloane wants people to listen to “Old Hands New Face” and know they are not alone to live, to smile, and to hopefully, listen together.
