Skyline Music Festival Celebrates 5 Years With Annual Festival Set for Ace Mission Studios in Downtown Los Angeles

Skyline Festival Celebrates 5 Years With Annual Event Set for Ace Mission Studios in Downtown Los Angeles

Skyline Festival returns to Los Angeles February 28 and March 1, 2026 to celebrate its 5th anniversary with two days of day to night programming dedicated to house, techno, and underground dance music. The annual electronic music and cultural event will take place at Ace Mission Studios, bringing together international headliners, standout local talent, immersive art installations, and curated food vendors that reflect the city’s vibrant creative energy.

Ace Mission Studios offers a mix of open-air festival stages and industrial indoor spaces, capturing LA’s underground culture and architectural flair.

Like most venues in LA, Ace Mission Studios has a cool history. In recent years, following the sale of the beverage distribution business, the site was redeveloped and repositioned, undergoing adaptive reuse, transforming the old warehouse buildings into sound stages, studio spaces, and production support facilities for film, TV, digital media, photo shoots, and creative offices.

The Skyline festival will feature multiple stages across the festival grounds with diverse musical styles: East Side & West Side Stages with house, techno, and rave-inspired sets; the New Downtown Stage, in partnership with Resident Advisor, offering a warehouse-style experience; and the Arts District Stage.

The venue has been a creative hub for artists of many talents, making it the perfect place to showcase the immense musical talent from all over the world. Across the weekend, more than 60 artists perform over 10+ hours of music per day, mixing global headliners with underground voices.

Skyline Festival 2026 Official Trailer

One of the best parts of having a multi-day festival is the variety of genres. This Skyline festival is heavy on the house, techno, and the combination of both, tech house. The most anticipated acts of the weekend, the techno gods 999999999 and I Hate Models will be returning to Los Angeles to show us how it’s done. These guys have been running the techno scene worldwide, and we get to have them both at the same venue, yet again.

Some of your DJ’s favorite DJ’s, or shall I say, PRODUCERS, to put some respect on their names, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Chris Stussy, Dennis Cruz, Chase West, and Beltran will be headlining Skyline too. Not only do people prioritize these sets, but these are guys who sell out their own shows at any given time, anywhere.

The new Arts District Stage, focused on community and experimental sounds from local LA artists. Yes, seeing the big artists that you already know is great, but don’t forget to check out the new up-and-coming talent.

With how quickly EDM is evolving, you never know which artist will be at the “local” stage now, and might end up headlining the next event you attend.

Now, the key to a successful weekend is always preparation. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes the best memories are made by making decisions on a whim, but if you want to make the experience as fulfilling as possible, it’s always best to have some plans!

Considering these events attract thousands of attendees, cell service can be spotty. Always remember to screenshot your mobile ticket, screenshot the lineup (protip: I always set the schedule times as my wallpaper so I don’t have to constantly open my photo app and search through them), and get there a bit early to secure a meeting spot for your group.

As far as WHAT TO WEAR, festival attire isn’t just about clothes, it’s about self-expression, play, and stepping into a temporary world where creativity is encouraged. Festivals create a space where people dress in ways they might not in everyday life. It’s a chance to explore!

For many, it feels like putting on a character, confident, playful, untamed, elevated. Attire becomes part of that ecosystem. You’re not just attending the experience; you’re contributing to it visually. Everyone becomes part of the art.

All I will say, LA weather is beautiful for the most part, but considering we are in February, I would prepare for a nice sunny and 75°F during the day, but it WILL get chilly at night, so be prepared, bring a light sweater or wear long sleeves.

Hydration matters. A hydropack or approved empty reusable bottle is always a good move, though attendees should check venue guidelines for size restrictions. With Liquid Death involved and water stations available, staying hydrated should be manageable.

Pacing yourself across two full days is critical. Eat before you arrive and take advantage of the food vendors onsite, including gluten free, vegan, and dairy free options. And do not overlook ear protection. Long term hearing health matters, especially in a city with nonstop shows and afterparties. Earplugs will also be available from vendors onsite.

With a stacked lineup, a newly revitalized venue, immersive art, and a strong community energy, Skyline 2026 is shaping up to be one of Los Angeles’ standout electronic music weekends of the year.
