Scribes dropped his visual to the track Backseat (New Ride), off his new Seacal Drive EP. The Captain Midnite produced track is a smooth single where Scribes flex’s his RNB side on the whole thing. He has been dabbling in singing hooks for sometime, but this time around he attempts to do a strictly RNB track. With a zoned out weekend feel on the beat, he does his thing on the vocals. The only way I can describe his RNB sound is “west coast.” Directed by fellow Seattlite Harry Clean, of Detooz Films, we catch Scribes riding around in a range with a pretty lil’ something something. Check out the video below
Scribes also dropped the Seacal Drive EP yesterday, you can get stream below or download for free. He mixes up the singing and rapping on tracks like ‘Off The Wall’ and ‘A Little Lost, while still coming through with word play on tracks like ‘What You Wanted To’ and the Leezy Soprano assisted ‘The Ceiling.’
You can find him all over the place at www.scribesmusic.com, on Twitter at @scribesone and on Facebook.
