Rufus Du Sol officially sold out WaMu Theater. The electronic trio came through Saturday night joined by openers the Lastlings and made an impact on the Seattle area. Their perfected sound rang throughout the enormous venue. Their soothing and catchy tunes had everyone from the front to back enjoying themselves. There were people on shoulders, people dancing and overall everyone was having a blast. There were absolutely no bad vibes.
It’s crazy to think how small, but how large Rufus Du Sol is in popularity right now. The fact that they can sell out WaMu is mind-blowing. It’s wild because they’re still growing and just touching the surface! It will be interesting to see what venue they play next time they’re in Seattle. They could be stepping it up to an arena or might have to do back-to-back shows.

Either way, Rufus was phenomenal and they played all of the songs everyone wanted to hear. It was too bad how quickly the hour and a half set went by! I know I can speak for several others, but we can’t wait for them to come back to town. Until then we’ll be following along on their journey and waiting for music updates through their Instagram.
For those that are new to Rufus Du Sol, no worries. We’ve provided their latest album, Solace below to get caught up! Take a listen and let us know what you think.
