Los Angeles based, by way of Portland, rapper Rikoe Wavy returns with a new visual to “Never Change.”
Portland has been a hotbed of hip-hop talent over the years yet many of the artists seemingly head to larger pools to continue their craft. Rikoe made the jump to Los Angeles a while ago which set the backdrop of the visual and syncs with the vibe of the record. An anthem of uprise, from dirt to success. “Never Change” is an ode to staying true to your roots while focused on the vision.
The blazing single from his recent X Marks The Spot album finds the artist truly finding his groove. Rikoe has been able to transcend multiple sonic scrapes through the times and his recent wave and has been right on the money. Always having impeccable timing on the mic and hustler talk weaved into carefully crafted bars, the vibe isn’t sacrificed within the technical skill. Between vibed out beats and auto-tune melodies, this is some perfect shit to light one up to and vibe out.
