Reggae On The Way Has Announced Their 2019 Lineup

On South Tacoma Way between 54th and 56th street sits the location for Reggae On The Way 2019, presented by Ionic and Danno Presents. This reggae festival is in its third year and with each year it continues to grow. Started in 2017 by Dan Rankin, the festival covers two city blocks. Grunge rock and hip-hop may dominate the history of PNW music but reggae is continuing to carve out its own place in the music scene.

Previous years lineups have included The Expendables, Tatanka, Leilani Wolfgramm, and J. Boog. That is a potent lineup for a local reggae festival. They can only continue to grow from here.

This year’s lineup features as much talent and the return of The Green who have previously played at the festival. The Green will also be joined by Steel Pulse, Unified Highway (featuring Eric Rachmanny of Rebelution and Amp Live), Sammy J, Anuhea, Josh Heinrichs & Skillinjah, and Spawnbreezie. Each of these artists brings a sound perfect for a sunny day spent soaking up groovy tunes.

This festival also features food trucks, vendors, and multiple stages. Previously stationed on 54th street, the main stage dominates both blocks drawing crowds from beer gardens and smaller stages. Be on the lookout for more updates about Reggae On The Way 2019.
