OG Kush is one of the most recognizable strains in cannabis. The Real OG, from The Cure Company, is an indica dominant strain with permanent roots in the cannabis industry. Older smokers will know all about it while people new to the industry will have only heard the legends.
The Cure Company packages their 5G Smalls branded products exactly as the name sounds, in bags of five grams. This is something not commonly done in the cannabis industry as most store bought weed comes in gram, two gram, eighths, quarters, half ounces, or full ounce packaging.
I find this to be a unique and exciting way to deliver cannabis to the customer. The nugs are also on the smaller size so you get more weed and less stem.
I really enjoy the smell of this strain, The Cure Company did an excellent job of preserving the smell in their packaging. There is a heavy pine aroma with touches of gas and earth to the weed, just like standing in the middle of a PNW forest. Each nug is the same shade of green as the leaves on a big old maple tree in the summer.
The size of each Real OG nug made it easy to load a few snappers into bong. I thoroughly enjoyed the piney taste that this strain had. This wasn’t a sit and do nothing indica strain, I felt a calm and relaxing feeling envelope my body as I watched the trees bend in the wind out my window.
