Raz Simone has been making big moves as of late! He’s fresh off performing on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s tour and has released two new singles, “Missin Joogs” and “Afraid Of Me.”
For the latest release, “Afraid Of Me”, Raz teams up with K-Pop artist Jay Park, to deliver a soulful/hip-hop/rock/pop record mixed with the violin talents of John Sinclair. This track shows off just how diverse & unique the sing-song style of Raz can really be and it’s clear there is a certain somebody on Raz’s mind.
On “Afraid Of Me” Raz is addressing a lady he is involved with. He’s letting her know he thinks they have the potential to be something great together, but there are apparently too many things she is afraid of to fully get involved with Raz. He is heard singing lyrics like “you won’t even let me in, we could have been the best of friends…we move forward, step back again cause you’re afraid of me.”
The latest collab between Park and Raz is just a taste of what we’ll be seeing from them as they are reportedly working an a full-length project together titled “SOUTHSIDE”
