The North Carolina wave is back in the PNW as QU/NTEN gears up with his latest single “Dragstrips.” This vibey artist continues to show his potential after releasing his 2020 EP “Forever Slept On“. The song garnered over 12,000 total streams on SoundCloud in just a few months. The big hit from this EP, “Me Against The World,” features a boppy, dreamlike beat that QU/NTEN absolutely slides on.
His latest release, “Dragstrips” got our boy feeling himself a bit more. Still coming in with the sound his fans have come to love but bringing a little more heat to it as he raps about his leveling up both in both music money. Kingsley is an artist I wasn’t aware of before getting this song from QU/NTEN. After holding it down in his short feature, I think he has the potential to do some damage. At the very least, he can probably put together some nasty hooks.
Recently moving cross country to California, QU/NTEN is not playing games as he takes the next step in his musical journey. Living in a place where stars can be made overnight, I’m excited to see how he continues to progress. Maybe he’ll even start linking up with some of our favorite PNW artists.
