Pusha T and Nicholas Britell have dropped a new song titled “Puppets.” The song itself is the theme song to HBO’s show ‘Succession’, but Pusha T put his own spin on the song. The rapper has been on his grind for awhile. This can be seen with releasing his hit album DAYTONA last year and dropping multiple singles over a month ago.
“Puppets” showcases his lyrical durability. Fans of Pusha T know that he brings some of the best lyrics to the table, as his lyrics are both creative and memorable. The imagery created is unmatched, and it’s all on display with the new track.
The instrumental was written by Nicholas Britell who is the original composer of the theme song. Seeing two artists who are very different from one another team up in this way is definitely intriguing. While the trajectory is unclear with the result of his latest releases, he’s been putting in the work and it shows.
