Oleum Extracts produces a wide range of concentrates that allows them to meet a variety of budgets. Their honey crystal extract might not be their top-shelf stuff, but it delivers a consistent and potent flavor. Purple Kush crosses Hindu Kush and Purple Afghani. The parent strains as well as Purple Kush are considered as an “Indica” my many users.
The packaging used by Oleum is identical across their concentrate lines. They provide the terpene content and identify whether the strain is an indica, sativa, or hybrid. I appreciate all of the information that Oleum provides on their packaging. Knowing the terpene content allows me to develop an idea of the possible flavor profile for the strain.
Purple Kush Honey Crystal Taste Test
I had to smell the concentrate while my dab rig was heating up. A enjoyable combination of sweet berries, earth, and a hint of cedar teased my nostrils. The flavor of the concentrate was as great as the smell led me to believe it would be.
My first dab was near the ideal temperature to taste the sweet berry flavor paired with a more dominant kush taste. Oleum did a fantastic job at cultivating the flavor for this strain.
Immediately after my first dab my eyelids got heavy. My body relaxed and I melted into my couch. A warming sensation wrapped itself around my body. The munchies were tough to control, luckily I had just gone to Costco to stock up on food. Between the flavor and the effects, Purple Kush made for an excellent taste test subject.
