Wayne’s wordplay and metaphors have always been a key factor in Polo G’s admiration of Wayne growing up. “GANG GANG” comes as a follow-up to Polo’s April single “RAPSTAR,” which rose to become his first No. 1 single. Polo G went for the W on “Gang Gang” and brought Weezy in to solidify the hit. The beat has a smooth, ethereal sample before a driving 808 comes in with clicking high hats that set the vibe. A house party in the Ghetto unfolds in the visuals, with Wayne and Polo turning up while expensive cars pull up.

If you’re applying the filters used in the video to big-budget films, the colors are similar to an action flick. Striking cyan blue and red-orange colors dominate the filters for the video, creating an epic feeling as the pair flex in a rundown neighborhood. Polo comes in first with an unsurprisingly catchy hook before diving into the beat. He lets loose a barrage of catchy wordplay and infectious melodies. Lil Wayne hops in next and keeps the energy at its peak while crooning auto-tuned bars. The epic and moody visuals saw direction from Roscoe while the beat was put together by Angelo Ferraro.
