So, grab your headphones and immerse yourself in the dynamic variety of sounds and sights that only the PNW can offer. Also, don’t forget you can catch all this talent in one place on our Spotify playlist!

Lil Seeto, Mafi D, & Maika Million “CRACKIN & SLIDING”

Hailing from the 253, we got this hip-hop trio coming in hot to kick off our PNW Rising with a haunting synth-type beat that remains consistent and each rapper stays armed with rapid-fire bars throughout the whole song. Interestingly enough, each artist has their own distinct style, but they also come together in a synchronicity that blurs together into a single fabric of hip-hop masterwork.

B1 “Maze X Runner”

Seattle’s B1 is turning up PNW Rising with this genre defying track mixed with hip-hop vibes and alternative instrumentation. This fusion is a good weekend bop that’s smooth yet edgy, which should definitely help set the tone for a good laidback feel that can also get you hyped with the right attitude. Check out the dope visuals on this video that’ll also help liven up the mood at any house party.

Yung 2k & Terry P “Rose City Ken”

From Vancouver, WA, Yung 2k is cooking up a dope ass hit with a bounce that stays consistent and wordplay that keeps up throughout the whole beat. The groove will keep you nodding along, and there’s a really chill spirit about it that keeps you chilled out. There’s really a finesse to these lyrics that show off the creativity between these two artists along with a layer of clean ass beats that level up the harmony in the best way.

YUNGC “HERE WE GO AGAIN”

Shot in Tacoma by sideshow, “HERE WE GO AGAIN” is a simple but lit video with wise and melodic lyrics. YUNGC gets real and humble with his work, and that’s something that seems to be a classic characteristic for a quality PNW artist. If you’re into rappers that keep it candid and honest in their music and their videos, you better keep YUNGC on your radar!

GOLDMOUTTH “PLAN A”

The Bellingham native has dropped a hot one on his Soundcloud with a relaxed and casual groove that sheds light on keeping up with the grit and determination it takes to get through life’s struggles. The message from GOLDMOUTTH comes from a place of perseverance despite hardships because that’s what it takes to make it in the tough world that we’re in, and ain’t that the damn TRUTH.

EOEAujin, Prtyboy, & eoe vice “Miss December”

These three came out with a tune that is perfect for the winter season spirit that’s rockin’ inside all of us right now. The laidback lounge feeling is backed up with smooth, jazzy feels with words that got flair and precision. This drop is urban and sophisticated with classic hip-hop and R&B rhythms complemented with some electronic tones that make for a unique quality that could chill out any atmosphere.

NËSTRÄ “BREAK IT DOWN”

To put it short and sweet, this release is a straight banger for the club! It’s giving mid-2000s energy with a beat that will keep you dancing and melodic vocals that’ll keep you vibin’ when you’re looking to have a good time and throw down at the end of a long week. This is the track you want to put on repeat if you’re wanting something feel-good and energetic which we feel is a great way to wrap up this week’s PNW Rising.
