Local Music Wednesday Continues To Showcase PNW Rising Artists
To get the ball rolling, we’ve got Its Pz’s latest video directed by Kcoyi. The hooks in this track are something that’ll stay in your head as you go on about your day. The words are real and even if you’re not an artist, anyone can relate to wanting to know who’s really got your back in the game and who doesn’t. If you don’t already know the name, start paying attention.
Its Pz “Question 4 U”
Josiah Mekhi “In Motion”
If you’re a fan of Khalid, Josiah Mekhi will definitely pass the vibe check. You better make sure you’ve got indica for this track because this velvety voice is perfect to wind down with. Even though it’s smooth enough to be a lullaby, it’s also sensual enough for a…sleepless night too if you know what I mean. Josiah is a very welcome addition to this week’s list of PNW rising artists.
SouthendSiva “Take Me Away”
For those of you that consider yourself to be a lover and not a fighter, this release shot by yvngjumex and produced by BLESS’EM’K3YSS will definitely speak to you. It’s not just the song that’ll hold your attention either. Gritty graphics and the switch from animation to live action in this video will catch your eye right away, and we love a great serenade with a video to match.
STS Boys “charges”
Put this track on the next time you need to get yourself hyped up for a night out. The beat alone has enough bass to keep you from sitting still too long. This video by Seababy #FILMS is one of many collabs with STS Boys, and there’s no doubt the fire they keep releasing is going to keep on raging. Tap in and subscribe to their channel for sure.
Ahvie Dinero “JESUS”
This one right here is the most unique performance out of the bunch. Shot by IvanShoots, this intimate production is a love song about a man, but not just any man. Ahvie Dinero gives her props to success to The Big Man Upstairs. With such a smooth & melodic piano sample, this track also highlights that it’s never too late for redemption. Regardless of your faith, that’s something we can all come together about.
Dmann “Too Much Motion”
This release produced by Imrunit is short, sweet, and to the point. One thing Dmann makes clear is that he gives zero f*&%$. At the end of the day, he’s a die hard hustler that has his sights set on two things and two things only: music and getting the bag. If Dmann keeps that as his motivation, you can’t help but wonder what he’ll come out with next.
