As we get closer to the Feezable The Germ and Respect My Region Death By Stereo event, we want to keep you guys in the loop with the acts performing August 4th at Nectar Lounge. Today we are introducing y’all to Norhtwest spitter and all around ‘classic man’ Perry Porter. The man, myth, artist, Persian rug collector, and Death By Stereo performer. I first saw Perry Perform alongside his Sleep Steady crew way back when at some random Kent show. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect but after they jumped all over the stage, feel to their knees, and joined the crowd at one point…it was safe to say they tore it down.

What do you look forward to at this event?
Meeting a lot of these dudes. I’ve known of them but never meet them…Fuck I’m feeling extra creepy like now.
What is northwest hip-hop culture missing?
Sleep Steady and more dance music. Every ones either too sad or too angry haha.
One other act your excited to see other than yourself?
Yusuke. He makes manga music and I pretend to be a manga illustrator. Hopefully there’s a talk about working on something in the near feature.
