Music monday is a new series dedicated to the up and comers of our region. We will be featuring 5+ songs/videos each week from local Northwest musicians that are on their grind. All videos, embed able links, and projects can be sent to info@respectmyregion.com with the subject “Music Monday Submission” for consideration (if a full project is sent, let us know which track you would like to promote or we can pick our favorite). From now on, our “featured” post will be used for artists who have put the time/money in to building a solid fan base that is actively seeking their content already. While our Music Monday series will be dedicated to the up and coming artist that is seeking a buzz. Up and comers fan base usually don’t move too much outside of their friend groups, and music monday gives the tool to having 5-10 artists sharing the same post thus providing 5-10 times the audience that an artists would receive on a solo “featured” post.
Winners of the weekly Music Monday Series will win a free tee shirt and a Twitter blast about their record that won the contest. We will also eventually hold a Winners Circle contest in which the winner will receive a featured post including a short interview!
