For most of the last decade, Mundy. has been creating music in the greater Seattle area. Back in 2011, the same year we started Respect My Region, he was also part of the OABN group’s creation. He released his first solo project “Trapanese” in 2014 which featured 14 tracks and gave fans an insider’s perspective on his African American and Japanese cultures. Most recently, Mundy. released the visual for his upbeat pop x rap crossover song, “Katana”, featuring DAYM.
Since Mundy. first started doing music at 17, he has continued to grind relentlessly. He has been able to perform on stages at Bumbershoot Music Festival, Capitol Hill Block Party, the Seattle Art Museum, The Crocodile, and Barboza. Mundy. most recently released his album, “ETD”, which was produced by Rob Reeves. The project is available now on all streaming platforms! “Katana” – Mundy. Ft. DAYM
With DAYM on the vocals and Mundy. coming through with some decent lyrics, “Katana” is another example of the diverse sound-scape that Seattle is home to. If you enjoy local artists doing their thing and being creative, this might be your jam.
