Hard To Love
Moneybagg Yo first teased his newest record on December 30, 2022. He tweeted a fan saying that the new record was coming soon. The lyrics on Hard To Love follow similar themes to Moneybagg Yo’s previous albums. Hard To Love does not shy away from difficult topics and pain. There are also lyrical references to drug consumption throughout the record, this can be seen on the tracks, “No Show,” “Ocean Spray,” and “More Sick.” Musically, Moneybagg Yo has stuck to his roots on this album. The songs are trap and hip-hop influenced. Overall, this is not an album to miss.
“I’m in a vulnerable space with Hard To Love. I’m letting you in on a personal end. I haven’t dropped in two years, so I gotta let you know why I haven’t dropped and there’s a few hits for until you get the real album. Just snack on this”
