MissMeAlex is a young cat from Chicago, Illinois whose passion and ambition has put him a step ahead many of the older artists out there. Always loving music but only getting into making it a little over a year ago.
MissMeAlex shows raw potential as the 15-year-old has already gained over 12,000 followers on Instagram. He released his first album Do You Miss Me? earlier in 2020 and already has a breakout track with “Did You Know?.” Which has garnered over 22,000 plays on SoundCloud. Other notable tracks are “Peso!” and “I’m Gone,” both amassing nearly 3000 with the album as a whole reaching well over 30,000.
His latest track, “Redemption,” was released a little less than a week ago. The fun-boppy beat intrigues you right from the beginning. MissMeAlex gets a lot of his inspiration from artists like Juice Wrld, The Weeknd, etc. You can hear these influences in his music as he works to refine his own sound and flow. Not afraid to experiment “Redemption” is a bit different of a sound than his album. But, this lack of fear and not being afraid to make what he’s feeling is a great sign that there’s nowhere to go but up for Alex.
