Migos have finally blessed us with the third installment of their iconic album series, Culture III. The 19-track album comes with a star-studded cast of features including the likes of Cardi, Bieber, Drizzy, Future, YoungBoy, Polo G, and the late Pop Smoke and Juice WRLD.
Migos have said in interviews that they had to wait until the world was opening back up to give us Culture III. Arriving at the perfect time, the new Migos album is poised to remain prevalent for the rest of the year.
Culture III
It’s been three whole years since we’ve gotten a full-length album from the Migos. For some fans, the span of time they’ve been teasing this record made it almost seem like a joke. In the time that it’s taken for Culture III to drop, we’ve gotten solo records from each member.
Quavo’s Quavo Huncho first came out in 2018 with Takeoff’s The Last Rocket coming out only a few weeks later. Then in 2019, Offset gave us his noteworthy Father of Four album full of dungeon trap bangers.
To kick off the release of Culture III, Migos have been releasing a few extravagant singles to build hype. “Straightenin” was the first slap to get an appropriately flashy music video along with it back in mid-May. Migos pulled up to their old hood in Atlanta with exotic cars to blow smoke and shoot a movie.
“Avalanche” was the next anthemic hit that came on Jimmy Fallon earlier this week. The Blues Brothers-style visuals seen above just came out two days ago. Visuals for “Modern Day” were served up with the release of the album yesterday.
A self-proclaimed masterpiece, Migos are set to continue trendsetting with the release of Culture III. The first half of this album is undeniably full of straight heaters, with the latter half losing some of the energy you’d hope for throughout. Regardless, there are sure to be more than a handful of successful hits that arise from this new full-length.
It’s fairly certain that we’ll continue to get more lavish and braggadocious visuals from Migos in support of Culture III until they start seriously touring. Listen below and find your favorite feature.
