Megan’s Organic Market is an absolutely beautiful dispensary and has been considered one of RMR’s best cannabis retail experiences in North America for about two, maybe three years now. When Megan’s Organic Market opened San Luis Obispo’s first recreational dispensary back in 2020, I began spending more and more time in the area. There was finally a dispensary I could hit up when I was on my way to NorCal. Back then, I was working for a larger cannabis brand and was told to go network and make moves with the dispensaries that were opening up on the Central Coast. Never having been to the city before, I found myself consistently eating at a few of the downtown pizza and bbq spots and started getting to know the team at Megan’s Organic Market San Luis Obispo dispensary at the same time.
The team making the moves at Megan’s really did a great job of finding the best products in the state and recruiting and hiring people who could communicate about these items at a high level. I remember bringing my mother by the shop a few years back and her being so impressed at the customer service and product knowledge compared to what we were experiencing in Los Angeles. I recently stopped by to meet the new team and felt that the experience was still wonderful and better than what I’ve been seeing across the country.
