In addition to being the most-watched debut episode in four years, it is the second most-watched in 12 years.

Megan Thee Stallion Makes a Statement on SNL
During her performance of “Savage,” Megan brought the show to a halt with a statement about Black people in America. The break in the performance reaffirms the call for protection and honoring of Black women and men as well. MTS also likened the Attorney General, Daniel Cameron (R), to those alleged to have entrapped other communities into enslavement. Cameron responded on Fox News, saying he wasn’t hurt and agrees Black women deserve better, despite reports indicating he failed.
The Houston hottie also performed her brand new single, “Don’t Stop” featuring Young Thug, which debuted last week. Not to be forgotten is her SNL acting debut, appearing in the musical skit for “Bottom of Your Face”.
