Under the name Machu Linea, Armando Garibay has been producing electronic music as an active participant in the Denver music scene for the last 10 years. He was one half of The Blackout Beat and produced three albums for the electro-pop collective, The Circus House. Earlier this month he released his newest single, “Meant to Burn” featuring Morning Bear, from the EP by the same name. Laced with Morning Bear’s emotive vocals, the track is an ethereal, down-tempo slow burn of electro-pop and R&B.
Machu Linea’s music is a mosaic of the genres he loves. His eclectic tastes show up as unexpected collaborations in his work. He’s joined forces with experimental hip-hop outfit, Rare Byrd$, Latin surf rock group Vic N’ The Narwhals, and John Runnels on this project alone. With this wide range of sounds, he creates an experience that is altogether seductive, unique, colorful, and dance-floor ready.
