Lyric Reels is an interactive and exclusive new feature to Instagram and Genius highlighting todays biggest music stars. Watch as power houses like Megan Thee Stallion break down the lyrics and meaning behind their latest hits.
Combining the best of what Genius and Instagram Reels has to offer, Lyric Reels are short, engaging, and entertaining videos that share the stories behind the songs. Created by the artists in the comfort of their own homes, or where ever they happen to be, expressed in their own words and creativity.
When new music drops fan can go to the Genius.com like they always do but now, select pages on Genius will include a Lyric Reels icon. This indicates that you will be able to watch a series a of 30-second Lyric Reels featuring the artist and other behind-the-song exclusives.
To access these Reels search for your favorite artist or song, they must have the Lyric Reels icon on their page. Lyrics that have a Reel video will be highlighted in green and you can access the video by simply clicking on the highlighted lyrics.
