To some, St. Patty’s weekend is an excuse to wear green and pinch each other for a night of debauchery and shenanigans. And we, on the EDM-side of Respect My Region wholeheartedly agree. So come get lucky with us at Lucky 2015, presented by USC Events.
Phase 1 of the lineup was just announced last Friday and USC did not disappoint with artists 12th Planet, Aly & Fila, Audien, Brillz, Cedric Gervais, the Chainsmokers, Delta Heavy, Neelix, Seven Lions, and Zeds Dead filling the bill. This is one of the most impressive lineups I’ve seen since I’ve been attending USC shows; there is something for every musical taste.
Like trance? They’ve got it. Like dubstep? Got it. Like house? Got it. Like filthy ratchet twerk music? (That’d be me.) Got it.
I don’t even know what psytrance is, but they have got that too!
As an aficionado of exquisite booty bouncing music, I am excited to see Brillz for the first time. I missed him both at Foundation last December, due to lack of funds, and at Paradiso 2014, due to lack of common sense. I caught a little bit of Seven Lions’ Paradiso set whilst dangling in the air on the swing ride, when my friend turned to me and said, “Wow, Seven Lions is really killing it.” This year, I’ll be jamming to Seven Lions from the ground. I have vivid memories of me making an ass out of myself at the Chainsmokers’ Paradiso set, and you better believe I’m going to do it again at Lucky. You will find me up in the front of the crowd for any of these artists with my volunteer Special Effects crew, shooting loads of confetti off in your face and pinching those of you not wearing green. (It’s a St. Patty’s party; get it together.) We are also available for thirst-quenching and selfie-taking.
Lucky 2015 is on Friday, March 13 and tickets are available now! So come get lucky with us, or just me, because I will definitely be up all night to get lucky.
