Known for producing high-quality weed across Washington state is the premium cannabis company, Gabriel. Their Sherbet strain actually placed first in our West Coast Weed Tour back in 2018. I love seeing a Washington farm that is able to produce cannabis at a consistently high level. The strain that was nominated by local budtenders this year was their Lemon Sorbet #3.
Considered an indica dominant hybrid, this citrusy cross featured two of our favorite staple strains, the Lemon OG and Sherbet.
Gabriel utilizes very classy packaging. Keeping the product fresh inside the jar is a rubber seal that sits between the seal and jar. The lemon-colored label provides a hint of flavors that the consumer should expect. Right above the strain name rests a sorbet dish filled with sliced lemons. Organized like a nutrition label, Gabriel delivers the essential cannabis information in an easy to read manner.
The potent lemony-citrus aroma is supported by a creamy flavor that fits perfectly with a relaxing summer day. Paired with a subtle pine aroma. The smells alone are enticing enough. Dark green with a faint tint of purple provides the background for sporadic patches of orange hairs. When smoked, a creamy flavor dominates the taste with lemon undertones. Each rip kept the flavor as I worked through my bowl. The smoke was smooth and kept the flavor until it was out.
Lemon Sorbet #3’s high is extremely pleasant. I usually don’t enjoy lemon flavored cannabis, the citrus flavors sometimes prove to be overwhelming. However, this strain provided a relaxing high that provided a relaxing cerebral effect. The munchies weren’t overpowering and I never felt the usual anxiety that typically experience from heavy lemon strains.
