Strains with lemon in their name always give me mixed feelings. In one hand, I love the flavor and smell. On the other, sometimes the high doesn’t always agree with me. I guess that depends on all of the genetics involved. Lemon Ozium from Cloud Cover crosses Lemon Kush and OZ Kush BX. This balanced hybrid strain has tantalizing aromas and looks absolutely beautiful.
Inside the mason jar rests thumb length pieces of cannabis that have distinct similarities to some of the other strains with kush genetics. Dark green colors with lengthy orange pistils scattered across the nug remind you of OG Kush. There are also small patches of a lavender shade on the cannabis. These matches are harder to see, but immediately draw your eyes to them.
I can’t get enough of the lemon aroma from this strain. There is a strong hint of something sugary that comes a long with the smell too. These two smells definitely peaked my interests. The combination of lemon and candy aromas is something that I have not found in cannabis strains recently.
This almost reminded me of Lemon Head candies, those definitely weren’t the best tasting candies, but boy did they smell good. I am hoping that my experience with Lemon Ozium will be a lot better than that.
