Seattle’s Private Reserve has a variety of excellent cannabis strains. Being no stranger to their consistency, I had high expectations for their LA Sour strain. The week has been exceptionally busy which has prevented me from enjoying my usual indica strains. The LA Sour produces a sweeter diesel aroma than commonly associated with Sour Diesel.
LA Sour is a hybrid strain with sativa-dominant characteristics. Each nug reminds me of a tiny frosted fir tree with clusters of buds scattered around the stem. The smells are a combination of pine and diesel, that same Sour Diesel aroma. The nugs look like hanging clusters of Elderberries with a deep green tint to them.
My favorite part of purchasing Seattle’s Private Reserve, aside from the quality cannabis, is the packaging. Small plastic jars tightly enclosed in tasteful cardboard boxes. I’m sure larger quantities come in nice glass jars. This provides an excellent view of the flower while keeping things a bit classy.
Overall the high was an excellent experience. Throughout bowls that I smoked my mood consistently elevated. Out of this world, munchies had me eating everything in my fridge. Luckily I had just made a trip to Costco, so I was prepared. LA Sour could possibly make my rotation this weekend at the Respect My Region 7-year anniversary party. You’ll have to show up and see for yourself.
