Before his second set at Coachella, Kid Cudi wanted to give back to the community that had given him such an amazing experience. On Friday night, Cudi ordered $10,000 worth of Popeyes chicken, mashed potatoes, fries, and biscuits. With help from Postmates, he had it delivered to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.

Founded in 1971, the shelter provides meals and housing to hundreds of homeless people in Indio, California. It is a place that gives relief to people who are truly at the end of their hope and rope. Cudi’s generosity will not go overlooked in the city of Indio.
As for the rest of his weekend, Kid Cudi did not disappoint either. Kanye West even made a surprise appearance. They performed some of their recent collabs like, “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt.1,” and, “Reborn.” The two gave a performance that, just like Cudi’s act of kindness, will not soon be forgotten.
