Born in New Jersey, Kayden McCarthy moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands, where he spent most of his childhood. It was here that he began his musical journey.
Always with an intense love for music, it was when Kayden finally moved back to U.S. and settled in Chicago that he realized music was going to be a big part of his life. With a wide range of abilities and attributes developed early in life, Kayden creates his own unique sound that can go anywhere from soft house, pop, to the comfort of his acoustic guitar.
Drawing inspiration from late 90’s rock n’ roll, early 2000’s hip hop, and modern electro-pop. Kayden has combined his singing-songwriting ability to use those inspirations as avenues to express himself, making him more open as an artist.
In his song “Tunnel Vision” you hear him put all those elements together to create a catchy tune about a guys total infatuation over a girl. Chill and danceable, this song will remind you of the days where you had tunnel vision yourself, not being able to see or think about anyone else but them. Able to strain vocals together in a style similar to Harry Styles and come with a tropical soft house vibe. Kayden McCarthy has etched his name onto the list of who to watch out for this summer.
