Kanye West has announced his third (and hopefully final) DONDA listening party in Chicago. Previously, he held his first two events at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Presently, he has been staying in the stadium, live-streaming his last-minute recordings and workouts. Following the massive success of his previous listening events, the final one at Chicago’s Soldier Field is also expected to go crazy. Bu Thiam, Kanye’s current career manager, has made vague comments on Instagram hinting at the release of the album following next week’s event.

The internet has been in an absolute uproar since the first DONDA release didn’t happen. There have been trending videos across all social media platforms with fans wondering if the album will ever drop. Bu’s comments have been flooded with inquiries from fans about whether or not DONDA will finally arrive next week. His responses to the questions were “absolutely” and “100%.” We shall see…
One fan in particular commented on Bu’s post asking if there is a possibility that Ye would push back the album again, due to his perfectionist charm. Bu said that wasn’t going to happen. The album will apparently drop after the event with no delays. Features that we’ve heard about on the album include Travis Scott and Lil Yachty.
Kanye’s Manager Says That DONDA Is “100%” Coming
Tentatively, we should expect to see DONDA drop by August 27th. Based on Kanye’s history of pushing back release dates, it would also come as no surprise if he makes us wait even longer. The fact that he keeps pushing the release date back and holding massive stadium events is a genius marketing ploy. He has the world paying attention and listening to snippets of an album that hasn’t even come out yet.
All we can do at this point is wait and see what happens. The Chicago native will surely rein in a legendary evening at Soldier Field. If everything goes right, we will finally see the release of Kanye’s long-awaited 10th studio album.
