New York’s K Jungle is a rising artist we’ve featured numerous times as he’s since he’s continued to expand his brand onto the west coast. Since his last release “50/50 Pack,” K Jungle has shown significant growth and his latest track “Top In The Beam” proves it.
The production in this track is reminiscent of some of Gucci Manes best work combined with popular elements from todays drill scene. The track comes in on a booming 808 production that takes us back to the “Freaky Gurl” era with a Pop Smoke twist. Rapping about whipping a Beamer with a baddie in the passenger, K Jungle also showcases his ability to tackle multiple flows.
The video for “Top In The Beam” gets it’s point across with him spitting bars in the camera. Flashing from being in studio to alongside some ladies twerking and feeling up on our mans.
K Jungle
I personally enjoyed the part of the song when he rapped in a drill style cadence saying “She love the way that I give it up, she love the way that I live it up, she love the way that I lit it up, she love the way that I pour up and the way that we roll up. And if you fuck up, ahh ahh, your ass getting stuck up.”
His tone hits the natural flow well and the pure ruthlessness of his subject matter personifies that city street life.
K Jungle also takes on that Gucci flow with his hook “She wanna ride in the Beamer, she give me head with the seat up.” Giving us remnants of Gucci Mane’s 2006 hit “Freaky Gurl,” capitalizing on those subtle nuances while staying true to his unpredictable nature and delivering something fresh for fans.
