Justin Hale Continues To Level Up With Weschamber On "Prey 4 Me"

Justin Hale Bares His Truth On “Prey 4 Me” With LA’s Weschamber On The Beat

When it comes to the music industry, you’ve got to hustle your ass off to get noticed. In the studio, creative planning sessions, video shoots, working and saving money, it all comes together to be part of the grind. Justin Hale is someone that has the work ethic to get to that next level.

His newest release, “Prey 4 Me,” is the latest creation that gives us a view into the Seattle-based artist’s life. This time he tapped back in with his LA roots to create something unique with anonymous producer, Weschamber.

“The song ‘Prey 4 Me’ is really just how I’ve been feeling recently. I didn’t drop much in the summer aside from March Madness, and I had just recently come off of what the city is calling my best song with my single, Personal.

Prey 4 Me’ is just about me beginning to settle into my role as “that guy” in the city that people know about, but either hasn’t truly embraced or are somewhere on the fence about who I am or what I represent.

You should be praying for me, so why are you preying on me?”

Hale is no stranger to making moves at times when most people wouldn’t see the value in putting out extra effort. While attending Respect My Region’s Hempfest after-party put on by Los Angeles’ Lit.Club (@litclublife,) Hale made contact with Weschamber’s team. Weschamber’s manager Kelly happened to have a mic and a laptop on him, so Hale rapid-fire spit some bars in a bathroom at the venue.

This was more than enough to get Weschamber on-board to create an honest heater like no other. About a week later they recorded their first collaboration with Hale doing the vocals, Weschamber on the huge production with mixing done by Sendai Mike.
