John-Robert, singer, songwriter and multi-faceted musician just let loose his debut single titled, “Urs” via Warner Records and Nice Life. The 19-year old Virginia-native says he wrote the song when he was 17-years-old as a “delusional romantic who couldn’t express himself and did nothing but sit around writing severely biased narratives,” and feels that it’s “not a love song, but a case study.”
As a debut track for John-Robert, a part of Warner Records and Nice Life, the musical powerhouses seem extremely optimistic with the natural talent John-Robert possesses and feels this single is a great way to introduce the newly signed artist to the world. This is a kid you want to keep an eye on. It’s not a matter of how for John, but more of a when will his popularity and songs take off to the moon.
It’s evident what can happen when you put in the work as John-Robert did in his hometown of Edinburg, Virginia. At the age of 12, he started playing on his first guitar, which eventually turned into singing countless open mics to build confidence and to invest in his craft. From there to Hollywood, John-Robert is on a roll.
Be sure to stay tuned for more musical releases by keeping your eyes on his social media. He’s currently putting the finishing touches on his debut EP, which is expected to arrive late spring 2020.
