“Vibey Island” is a deceptively sad track that starts happy and chirpy with the Caribbean drums and Jerm singing softly. He starts off rapping about his love for a troubled girl. Their relationship begins to unfold with secrecy and hardships taking a toll. Young love with its highs and lows is relatable, and Jerm Deeezy puts his pain into the track.
The bouncy chorus is an earworm and will have you singing before the song is over. This newly released single showcases the Sacramento rapper’s growth and maturity. Departing from his early days of having fun and making freestyles on SoundCloud, and shaping into a real up-and-coming artist.
