21-year-old Jaden Smith has taken it one step further with his philanthropy and made a vegan pop-up food truck called “I Love You Restaurant.” On July 7th he had his first pop-up in Skid Row, an area of Los Angeles that contains one of the largest homeless populations in the US. It’s moves like this that put a little hope back in everyone’s hearts. Jaden Smith continues to use his powers for good to effect social change.
On the young icon’s social media he detailed some of his intentions with the food truck pop-up. He said to “keep a lookout because this is the first of many #JADENinc,” which leads us to believe that he’ll be continuing this good work. He said that the “@ILoveYouRestaurant is a movement that is all about giving people what they deserve, healthy, vegan food for free,” via an IG caption. We can only assume at this point that Jaden will use his power, money, and influence to keep putting positive energy out in the universe.
The comments on Jaden’s posts really show that he’s doing something right. Praise showers in for his efforts with helping feed such a huge homeless population. Let’s take this moment to also remember when he began bringing water to Flint, Michigan after a five-year crisis.
Jaden Smith is arguably doing more for the planet and society than most anyone else twice his age that’s in a similar income bracket.
