Issac Dunbar is a budding star who has garnered the attention from the likes of Zane Lowe, The FADER, and Ones To Watch. At the young age of 16, Isaac has an old soul that shine’s through his music. With an ability of storytelling using a gifted writing ability, smooth, mature, vocals, and impressive production. His pioneer track from his EP Balloons Don’t Float Here, “Woman On The Hills,” has everything it needs to become a hit lead single.
“Woman On The Hills” is a story of lust and love, of finding that one girl that completely turns your life upside down. There is also an element of pain and/or regret with Issac’s repetition of “don’t turn your back (“on the woman on the hills”). Issac’s talent wraps this track in a blanket and really secures it as one that is soon to blow up for the young teen artist.
With most of life still ahead of him there’s a curious thought, how much better can he get? With so much more to experience and learn from we may have the next Chris Brown or Justin Bieber on our hands. The world is at Issac’s fingertips and it’s up to him to decide what to do with it. I for one, have high hopes for the kid.
