Must Watch At Inlander’s Volume Music Festival In Spokane This Weekend

Spokane, it’s that time of year again. Volume Music Festival presented by the Inlander is back! This year they’ve yet again curated quite the line up of music acts from all around the Pacific Northwest. As I’m a pure hip-hop head, I must admit I’m not that aware of the acts from other genres. If you’re looking for a guide to music outside of hip-hop, this isn’t the one for you. Anyways, let’s take a look at some of the things you don’t want to miss (hip-hop wise) at the 2019 Volume Music Festival.

Line-Up’s You DON’T Want To Miss

nYne on Friday Night

This will be a unique opportunity to see two of Washington’s hottest music artists in Parisalexa and MistaDC alongside a special guest appearance from veteran Allen Stone. Seriously, Paris and DC are incredible talents with music that anyone can appreciate no matter their musical preference.

Washington Cracker Building on Saturday Night

This is full-on hip-hop with a lot of the dope talent from the Eastern side of the mountains. Hosted by the host that smokes the most, Yung Crown.

Red Room Lounge on Friday or Saturday Night

This venue is set to run late into the evening both nights with bands and DJ’s alike. Staying the entire night or popping in either evening will provide a great glimpse into PNW music talent.

Favorite Venues

The Bartlett – While I don’t recognize any of the bands on the line up (again I’m a hip-hop head almost exclusively), this is one of the best small venues in Washington. Killer ownership, staff, acoustics, and it’s all ages with a bar in the front!

Red Room Lounge – We’ve hosted events at this space for the better part of the last decade and it’s really a great space. Killer sound, stage, and full bar.

Washington Cracker Building – While they don’t exactly hold the award for best acoustics, they very much hold the perfect downtown music festival vibe.
